Ahammune Biosciences is a drug discovery company with a vision to foster new treatment options for the debilitating skin depigmenting disorder, Vitiligo. She carried out her PhD in the area of skin biology at National Institute of Immunology, Delhi where she deciphered a crucial role of IFN-γ in pigmentation homeostasis. Her studies also revealed altered microbial community structure in Vitiligo skin. Subsequently, she joined as Inspire-Faculty at CSIR-IGIB, Delhi. She’s now moved on to pursue her entrepreneurial dream with Ahammune, where she aims to translate her scientific knowledge into applications relevant to the Indian society.
